教学目标:1. 认知时间状语从句及相关时间连词

        2. 在情景中进行语法教学,让学生不断进行重复式训练并主动掌握时间状语从句中的重难点知识

        3.让学生学会合作学习

教学过程:

自主研习  

Read this passage and find out the adverbial clauses of time (时间状语从句) and circle the connective words (时间连词)——conjunctions and paired conjunctions.

When I was a child, I had heard many stories about life in America. Whenever I saw American movies, I imagined that one day I would be in a place like the one I saw. By the time I was 20, I finally decided to a785be to the U.S. As I was travelling to the U.S., I thought about all the stories about the beautiful country. But I really knew nothing about the US. until I came here.

 The moment I came to the U.S, I began working hard and trying to learn English. I haven't had time to meet Americans or had much fun since I started my job. While I'm at school, I talk to my classmates during breaks, but on the weekends I'm alone most of the time. I won't be able to make American friends until I learn more English.

Task1.Work in group of four to list the conjunctions and paired conjunction as many as possible .

     Complete the passage with the correct time expressions.

(批注:完成课本上的语篇填空作业,因为文章语篇是“The Song That Touched My Heart”, 因此,教师再学生做此题时,给学生放了语篇中提到的那首歌”You Are The Sunshine of My Life”,学生沉浸在音乐的享受中并且顺利完成了教师布置的任务)

Task4. watch a video and try to answer the following question in pairs.

(批注:教师所选取的视频新颖,感人,所有的学生都专著地看视频并将自己的所感所想做了相应记录。然后教师邀请班上一位女生当记者,对在场的学生进行采访,不断重复练习本堂课重点-时间状语从句)

2. After you watched the whole performance, how do you feel ?

3. What is the story about?

4. Before they married, where did they go ?

5. By the time the man went to the battlefield, what special event happened to the family?

6. When the man went to the battlefield , what happened ?

7. After that , what will the mom and the daughter do every year?

8. What does Attraction’s performance want to tell us?

Task5. Write a short passage to describe the loving story and your feelings in 80 words using adverbial clauses of time as many as possible.

总体评价:

 本课语法课设计新颖,没有按传统语法进行教学,而是将语法讲解融入情景中,学生感兴趣并沉浸其中。教师课堂指令清晰,具有幽默感并且个人素质极高,深得学生喜爱。整个课堂师生关系融洽,学生积极活跃,真正体现了以“学生为主体”的课堂教学理念。教师板书设计很好,整个板书看起来清新、清楚、思路清晰。

建议:

 在进行采访活动的环节中,可以让被采访的学生将整个句子完整地说出来,这样子更能加深时间状语从句在学生心中的印象。
