教学目标

1. The pupils can use the structure“ What’s this?  It’s a pencil. It’s my ruler.”

2.Encourage the students’ interest to learn English.

3. Encourage the students to cooperate with each other, help each other and learn from each other.w

教学重难点

1. Help students grasp the words: pencil-case, crayon, eraser

2.Help students grasp the key sentences：

 What’s this? It’s a pencil. It’s my ruler.

3. Enable students to use the drills fluently and correctly.

教学步骤：

Step1 Warming-up and leading-in

T: Hello, boys and girls.

Ss: Hello, Vivian.

T: How are you?

Ss: I’m fine, thank you.

T: Let’s sing a chant, ok ? Stand up!

①.Sing an English chant. “pen and pencil”

②. Revision. Let Ss take out their own objects and say“It’s my pencil case/book/ruler//crayon/classroom/”

Ss:......

Show and say.

Encourage students to change this chant into a familiar song.

pencil-box.  It’s my eraser.

Pencil case.  It’s my pencil case.

Eraser. It’s my eraser.

Encourage say some sentences like“That is......,This is......”

Step2Practice  

Listen to the record and tell me what did you hear?

Listen and finish the exercises.

Then check out the answers.

Practise with Ss.

T:Look ,what’s this?

Ss:It’s a red schoolbag......

Let Ss practice by groups.

Check 3-4 groups.

Step3Consolidation

Vivian has got lots of things. Look books, pencils, pencil cases, photos....But they aren’t mine. Whose things are they? Have Ss say “It’s my chair/desk/schoolbag .....”

Invite other students a785be to the platform.(Swap the roles)

Ask them ‘What’s this?’ freely.
