2.让学生了解有关灾难,如龙卷风、飓风的常识。
3.让学生了解文章的基本信息。
4.让学生能基本自行描述一样灾难,做出简单的定义。
教学过程:
Step I Greeting and Leading-in:
T: Nice to have this English class with you. First of all, let’s share a video.
(play a video) What is this natural disaster?
S:Tornado.
T: Yes. Do you know other natural disasters? Let’s look at these pictures.
(show the pictures and display the names of disasters )

Step II Vocabulary
Task 1: Match the words with their definitions.

Step VI: Try to describe an earthquake.
地震是一种突然的剧烈的地壳运动。全世界每天大概有400次地震发生。一般容易发生在山区。中国就是处在地震活跃区的国家之一。近年来最严重的一次就是2008发生在汶川的5.12大地震,房子瞬间被夷为平地, 造成共计69,185人死亡, 374,171人受伤。
【分析】:铺垫自然, 学生输出较容易。】
整节课感悟:
蒋玲老师这堂课的课型是阅读, 属于阅读课中的精读课型,蒋老师引入自然得体, 吸引学生,通过自下而上的方式,先处理词汇, 有益于学生下一步的阅读, 从感性认识如何描述自然灾害, 落实到实实在在的输出,培养学生阅读能力的同时, 有益于培养学生的沟通能力和创新精神
