Step I Greeting and Leading-in by listening to a song Yesterday Once More (play the song) What is this natural disaster?

(反思:引入环节,教师精心准备了英文歌曲Yesterday Once More的MTV录像视频,直观,生动。随后展示歌词,这首歌的歌词中涉及到一些时间状语从句,让学生清晰地了解到本堂课教学内容是时间状语从句。)
Step II Adverbial Clauses of Time
Task 1: Read this passage and find out the adverbial clauses of time (时间状语从句) and circle the connective words.
When I was a child, I had heard many stories about life in America. Whenever I saw American movies, I imagined that one day I would be in a place like the one I saw. By the time I was 20, I finally decided to a785be to the U.S. As I was raveling to the U.S., I thought about all the stories about the beautiful country. But I really knew nothing about the US. until I came here. The moment I came to the U.S, I began working hard and trying to learn English. I haven't had time to meet Americans or had much fun since I started my job. While I'm at school, I talk to my classmates during breaks, but on the weekends I'm alone most of the time. I won't be able to make American friends until I learn more English.
Then ,Work in groups of four to list the conjunctions and paired conjunction as many as possible .

(反思:亮点!—教师播放了英国达人秀的一场表演。此处选材经典、震撼,对学生是一种吸引。)
Task 3: Suppose you are a reporter . After watching the show , you are interviewing the audience. Please work in pairs to a785bplete the interview

(反思:这此环节可谓课堂把课堂推向高潮。教师以时间状语从句的问句方式来设计,让学生小组活动讨论这场表演,一位学生拿着话筒,担当reporter,来采访现场观看了表演的学生。可谓是身临其境。学生在亲身体验过程中学到知识。表现很棒。)

Task5. Write a short passage to describe the loving story and your feelings in 80
words using adverbial clauses of time as many as possible.

(反思:在以上的观看、讨论了关于爱的表演后让学生写一个关于爱的故事并谈论感受,达到情感的升华,写作任务中要求使用时间状语从句,以达到语言的综合输出。让个别学生到黑板上写,修改的时候让其他同学都能看见并评改,值得借鉴。)
整节课感悟及反思:
1、本节课虽然是一堂语法课,但并不像传统的语法课那么枯燥。
2、情境教学。融入了学生熟悉的、经典的歌曲,学生感兴趣。是听觉、视觉、知识的融合。
3、学生的参与度高。
4、每个环节环环相扣,过度自然。
“We teach who we are”. 我再一次深刻感受到:也就是说我们有什么样的语言观、学习观就会以什么样的方式去教书,教师的观点直接影响着教师的教学设计。从本节课不难看出教师的功底和值得借鉴的教学方法。所以我要学习,学习再学习!
