Unit 3 Food说课稿

邹彬

Good morning, my dear judges and teachers. It’s my greet honor to stand here to present my teaching plan. Now, I’ll introduce my teaching plan from 6 parts:

Firstly, the teaching material is from the English Book 5 which published by People’s Education Press. This lesson is the first lesson of Unit 3. It mainly talks about food.

Secondly, the students are from grade 3. They’re active and curious, and also interested in English. After learning English for two years, they have many basic English background knowledge. They’ve known the words:rice/noodles/chicken...and the sentence: I like...Do you like...? and the answer: Yes, I do./ No, I don’t.in Book 2. In this lesson, they’ll learn more key words of food and practise them.

Thirdly, the language knowledge and skills are the keywords and how to use them. Understanding and cooperation ability also should be developed. The key points about this lesson are: to understand listen and say the words; to practise and use the key words;to write the key words. But it’s difficult for them to pronounce: fruit/ ice cream/ and bread correctly.

Therefore,the Task-based teaching method, cooperation and a785bmunication, and knowledge transferring are useful in the whole teaching and learning.

Next, Let’s focus on the teaching procedures. As you can see, I will finish the lesson in 6 steps, too.

Step1: Warm-up

It will take 5 minutes. After greeting with the students. I’ll lead them to review and sing the chant together which the have learned in Book 2.It will help students review the learned knowledge for the next step. And singing a song will form a better English surroundings for students.

Step 2: Lead-in

I will use 2 or 3 minutes in leading-in. Let’s look and say: Who are they? Where are they? And what are they doing? Then, I’ll write the tittle “ Unit 3 Food ”on the blackboard. The purpose of this step is to predict and to get information from pictures.

Step 3: Presentation

Presentation will cost about fifteen minutes. Students look, listen and find food words. The aim of this part is to listen/ to perceive/and to write. So I’ll focus on pronunciation, meaning and writing. Meat and cake are easier for students to pronounce, the little teacher can help. Tomatoes and potatoes are learned by listening and discussion to transfer the pronounce of o a. And bread ice cream are more difficult, I will ask them to listen and observe, try to imitate them. Then students sing the chant together.

Step 4: A game for practise

In order to help Students to use teh words and draw students’s attention, there is a familiar game for them. It maybe costs 4minutes.

Step 5: Development

A task for them to use the words in the real daily life. Before students do the survey, I take out my information and hide it, ask students guess like this: Do you like...? Then I tick or cross according to their answers. After the task, 2 teams will be invited to show their dialogues.

Step 6: Conclusion

1. Lead them to answer what do you learn today?

If time allowed, choose 1 or 2 students a785be to front to put the words in the right places.

2. Homework: Choose 3words you like to make words cards.

It’s interesting for students to consolidate the words and develop their a785bprehensive quality.
