本单元主要围绕Are there many children in
your class? 话题展开,通过Xiaolin,Amy 和Sam的对话内容了解中英学校,培养学生的文化意识,并借助图片,视频和思维导图练习目标语言,帮助学生能在恰当的情境中使用目标语言,培养学生的语言能力,学习能力以及批判性思维。
目标语言: Are there many children in your
class?
Yes,
there are./No, there aren’t. “There be’’结构的一般疑问句,
词汇:class, about, forty等.
由于本单元Activity 2的故事情境与学生的生活实际联系更加紧密,因此对单元内容进行了适当的整合处理,将Activity1和Activity 2调整顺序,把Activity1作为Activity 2故事情境的拓展及延伸,让学生在更多的情境中运用目标语言,并通过观察,对比,结合How many?句型,让学生对数量的认知由抽象化转为具体化。

通过提前对成都七中实验学校的学生进行了解得知,学生学习了外研社和北师大两套教材,学生的英语基础扎实,学习能力较强,并且在外研社二年级教材中已习得Can I play with them?句型,在日常学习过程中对整十的数字已有了一定了解,因此本堂课将Are there many
children in your class? 的一般疑问句作为重难点,培养学生在恰当情境中运用目标语言的学习能力。

2)通过围绕主题Are there _____?和运用How many?的回答对比事物多少,培养学生仔细观察的习惯和能力。
3.情感态度目标(文化意识)
学生通过对比了解中英学校班级,提升学生的文化意识,并鼓励学生能够合理,辩证地思考,分析问题,进一步促进学生心智的发展。
