一、教材分析:

本课是《新标准英语第六册》(三年级起始)第五模块第二单元的教学内容,所教授的新知是运用所学的形容词来描述事物的特征并学会表达自己的看法。

二、学情分析:  


本课教学对象是五年级学生,他们好动、活泼、开朗,对英语有着比较强的学习兴趣,并具有一定的英语基础,喜欢小组合作学习,有良好的课堂合作学习习惯。

三、教学目标:

知识目标:掌握easy,

heavy, hard, big, light, small等形容词并能运用它们描述物体的特征;

技能目标:能运用It’s

too... for you.表达不同的意见。

情感目标:帮助学生在词语与相应事物之间建立联想;鼓励学生积极与他人合作,共同完成学习任务。

四、重点与难点:

1.能运用形容词描述物体的特征。

2.能运用It’s ... for you.这类语句表达不同的意见。

五、教具准备:多媒体课件, T恤,卡片等。

六、教学程序

(一)Greetings

(二)复习导入,热身活动:游戏:

1. Chant

Big

and small, small, small, small.  Small

and big, big, big, big.

Heavy

and light, light, light, light.  Light

and heavy, heavy, heavy, heavy.

Easy

and hard, hard, hard, hard.  Hard and

easy, easy, easy, easy.

(设计意图:chant活跃气氛,集中学生注意力)

2. Guessing game:

T: Look at this, I have something for you. What’s this? It’s a

bag. But it’s too small for me. And it’s too small for her.(叫个女孩子站起来) It’s also too small for him. (叫个男孩子站起来)It’ too small for it too.(拿个玩偶)So

I think it’s too small for you. But it doesn’t matter. I have another one. This

is a bag too. It’s too big for me. And it’s too small for her.(叫个女孩子站起来) It’s also too small for him. (叫个男孩子站起来)It’ too small for it too.(拿个玩偶)So

I think it’s too big for you.

(引出标题,并复习宾格)

T: Look at this bag. S: It’s too heavy for her. It’s too light

for him.

Please guess what’s in the bag.

Is it ...? (sweater\shoes\T-shirt\pants\shorts)

Is it ...? (color)

T: Let me see. Oh, I’m sorry. Yes, you’re right, they’re

T-shirts. They’re white and pink.

(设计意图:通过复习unit1所学的形容词,已经刚刚在引入时学习的新句型:It’s too ____ for____. 为教授新知做好铺垫。)

(三)教授新课.

1.T:Look at these T-shirts. Wow, they’re very nice. They’re very

lovely.

Because

it’s got a/an…on it.

(问题:学生不会这个句型,应该书写出来,反复操练。学生a/an 不分,这时应该及时纠正。用手势讲解nice = lovely)

(设计意图:通过刚才游戏制作的新T-shirts, 练习新句型: It’s got a…on it.)

T: Do you like them? Do you want to wear? (做动作)

Ask

1 student. Which T-shirt do you like?

T:

Try this one in …(color)

教师做动作说句子,请学生模仿并说出句子Try this one in …(color)

小组练习新句型Try

this one in …(color)

(学生对try这个单词很不熟悉,提醒他们举手的口头语:let me try.)

3.学生穿上,学生自主观察,引导学生说“It’s too big/small for you.”

(设计意图:通过课件和情境的创设教授新句型并运用。)

T: Oh, I’m sorry, it’s too big/small for you. Do you want to try a small / big

one?

S:

Yes. T: So you should say: Have you got a small\big one, please?

(设计意图:通过情境的创设,教授新句型Have you got a small\big one, please?

并运用。 分男女生练习)

T:

Yes , I have. Try this one in…(引导其他学生说出这个句型,唤起记忆,复习这个句型)

Ss:

Oh, it’ too…for you.

T:

Sorry! But it doesn’t matter.

Here’s

a present for you. You can take it to your home.

(设计意图:通过情境的创设教授新句型You can take it to ...并运用。)

齐读这5个句型。

(四)课文教学

1.

Look at the picture. T: Who are they? What are they? What color are they?

It’s got a panda on it.

Listen, watch a video and answer the question: Which T-shirt

does Lingling take? A T-shirt in blue, or a T-shirt in white?

2. Task: listen again and fill in the blanks.

(一遍后学生可能完成不了任务,应该视情况多放一遍, 照顾学困生。)

(设计意图:训练学生的听读能力。反复进行听读,在课文中不断操练了新单词、新词组和新句型,同时配有生动形象易懂的图片,加深了学生对课文的理解。)

(设计意图:通过小组扮演,培养学生合作学习的精神,并且再次熟悉课文。)

(五)口语练习

This

T-shirt in blue is too big for Lingling. This T-shirt in white is OK.

Now

look at this T-shirt. It’s too big for me.

(拿到学生身上) It’s too big for her. It’s too big for him.

(拿到玩偶身上) It’s too big for it.

Now look at this T-shirt. It’s too small for

me.

It’s

too small for him. It’s too small for her.

(总结,并且再次复习宾格me, him, her, it.为后面的练习做准备)

(六)拓展训练:

(将一件T-shirt

挂在高处)Look at this T-shirt, it’s too easy for me.(叫一个学生上来拿) It’ too hard for him/ her.

引导学生用身边事物造句:e.g. The desk is too heavy for me/her/him.

(设计意图:回归生活,将学到的句型It’s too ____ for____.应用于生活之中)

(七)学习歌曲

放歌曲录音,让学生跟唱、练唱。

(设计意图:通过唱英文歌的教学,培养学生学习英语的语感,在快乐的歌声中结束课堂教学,让英语学习更有乐趣)

(八)情感教育:英语谚语:

评价:黑板上的两件T-shirts,比比看男女生哪组T-shirts的星星多

T:

Oh, you’re a super star. Do you like super stars? Today you girls/boys are

super star, is it hard? No, it’s easy. Being a super star is not hard; it’s

easy, if you try hard.

So

here’s an old saying for you: All things are hard before they are easy. (凡事总是由难而易) Please try hard.
