一、 Teaching Aims

1. Knowledge Aims

①Students master the words: like, them, football, basketball, table tennis, morning exercises

Students can express their sports preferences.

1. warm up

Enjoy the song<< The animals went in two by two>>

T: Let’s enjoy the song and then tell me what you can see.

S: I can see elephants…

T: They are so cute. Do you want to see more animals?

S:Yes.

T:Let’s go!

2. Lead in(Activity 1)

T:Oh,Lions are (big)

Cats are(small)

Monkeys are (short)

Elephants are (tall)

Pandas are (fat)

They are so cute. Do you like them?

S: Yes.

I like lions.

I like cats.

I like monkeys.

I like elephants.

I like pandas.

I like them all.

(A monster shows up)

I don’t like monsters.

Main procedures

T: Of these animals, my favourite animal is panda. What does panda like?

S:I don’t know.(T:maybe you don’t know)

T: let’s ask him. Panda, panda, what do you like? Let’s watch a video.

(hand a panda picture to a students who will answer the question, then ask him together: panda,panda, what do you like?)

S: I like…

T:maybe…let’s listen, repeat and underline “I like”

T: let’s ask: panda,panda, what do you like?

S: I like…

T: I’m panda now. I like football. I like basketball. I like table tennis. I like morning exercises. But, what don’t I like? Please read after me and circle “I don’t like)

S: I don’t like…

(group work---invite two groups)

T: You like…you don’t like…I’m confused. Why? You can speak in Chinese.

S:因为他怕困难。。。

T:我们每个人都有自己喜欢做的事情,我们要向Nick那样拥有克服困难、永不放弃的精神。

T: So, we know what Panpan and Nick like in sports. But I know nothing about you. Let’s do a survey.
