Teaching aims:

(1)To learn some useful words and phrases

(2)To read the passage by accessing required information effectively

(3)To improve students’ reading skill

(4)To use some reading skills to get the basic structure of the

passage.

 (5)To learn something about friendship

Teaching key & difficulty: To improve students’ reading skill

Teaching aids: chalk, blackboard, textbook, paper

Teaching procedures:

Step 1: Lead insong: Count on me:show a picture of the teacher and her friends and ask what kind of qualities do you think a good friend should have?
