1. Learn another famous scientist: Stephen Hawking.

Part one: Reading
Step 1: lead-in Use a picture to arouse students’ interest of getting the information about Stephen Hawking (T-Ss)
Can you recognize who he is?
How much do you know about him?
Step 2: Make an prediction about what they will read(T-Ss; Ss-Ss)
Later you'll read some information about this great scientist, what do you want to know about him?
Step 3: Learn the famous scientist Stephen Hawking (individual work)
Now read the 3 paragraphs and finish activity 2 and 3.
Step 4: Learn how to organize the passage when write a biography.(S-Ss)

Part two: Writing
Step 1: Classify the information given in activity 4(individual work)
First number each notes in activity 4.
Classify the notes according to the aspects listed in activity 3.
Step 2: Learn some skills to polish writing.(T-Ss; Ss-Ss)
