Step 1. Review

Step 2. Part 1

T: Who are they?  Ss: Jack and Jill

T: Jack and Jill went up the hill. They were happy. But look, what happened to Jack?

Watch and answer: Jack fell down.

Listen and repeat

Step 3. Part 2

T: Look at Daming’s head. What happened ?

Watch and choose: A. He fell down. B. He bumped his head.

Learn to know what happened exactly.

Picture 1. Q: What did Daming and Sam do yesterday?

Ss: They went for a bike ride yesterday.

Picture 2. T: And then how were they?

Ss: They were hungry and thirsty.

T: And then what did they buy?

Guess: Did they buy...?

Picture 3. They bought a watermelon.

Picture 4. T: And then where is the watermelon?

Sam carried the watermelon on the bike.

Picture 5. T: And then did Daming fall off his bike?

Ss: No, Sam fell off his bike.

Picture 6. T: And then, who is she? Where are they?

Ss: She is a doctor. They are in the hospital.

T: Daming bumped his head. Sam took Daming and the watermelon to the hospital.

Step 4. Tasks.

Task 1. Listen, repeat and find “ Did you...? ”

Taks 2. Read and order

___Sam carried the watermelon on his bike.

___Then they were hungry and thirsty.

___Sam fell off his bike.

___So they bought a watermelon.

___Sam and Daming went for a bike ride.

___And Daming bumped his head. Sam took him and the watermelon to the hospital.

Step 5. Discuss in groups: Why? How did Daming bump his head?

Ss: Did ... bump Daming’s head?

T: And then the watermelon bumped Daming’s head.

Step 6. Read again and talk about the story
